Mr Wijethunga is a veteran in the field of Marketing and Business Management with over 15 years of practice across the entire spectrum of Marketing, Sales Management, Strategic Business Management and Events & Activations in SLT Digital Info Services (Pvt) Ltd.

He is a dynamic personality which has helped Rainbow Pages to own the market space in the directory publishing by successfully competing with the global brand Yellow pages in Sri Lanka. With his contribution, Rainbow pages reach the highest level and become the only directory publisher recognised by the Government of Sri Lanka.

In addition to his present position, in 2018 onward he was appointed to drive group's diversified business of smart transport service, 'SLT muve' to commercialize and provide efficient ride-sharing service in Sri Lanka..
